The Wharfedale's EVO-X12 is a passive speaker with a tough 12-inch bass driver and a 1.7-inch Titanium diaphragm compression driver. The crossover is further constructed with high-quality components and has the Protech driver safety system, which protects the HF driver from destructive signals generated by overloading and easily returns the system to normal operating levels. Even better, it also has a visible signal presence and overload LEDs for monitoring the status of the speaker.
