The Rode's NTK is a quality valve condenser microphone designed to give great detail and warmth in the studio, just like its bigger brother, the K2. Its cardioid polar pattern is ideal for recording single instruments in most situations. A hand-selected twin-triode 6922 valve and audiophile-grade components also make up the electrical circuitry that complements this extremely sensitive transducer. As a result, the tube warmth is further outstanding, with an ultra-wide dynamic range and low noise. Vocals, acoustic instruments, drum overheads, guitar amps, and pianos all also benefit from this microphone's rich valve sound.
