RODE NT2-A Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone (NT2A)
The Rode's NT2-A is a variable pick-up pattern and highpass filter studio condenser microphone with a large capsule (1"). It also has a 3-position switch on the mic body that allows you to switch between Figure 8, Cardioid, and Omni polar pick-up patterns, as well as a flat response and a 40Hz or 80Hz highpass filter to a Pad adjustment of 0dB, -5dB, or -10dB attenuation. Even better, the TYPE HF1 dual-diaphragm capsule, created and manufactured in Australia, also lies at the NT2-A. This new transducer's frequency and transient response have been voiced to support today's sophisticated recording techniques while also evoking the silky smooth quality of iconic microphone from the 1950s and 1960s. To top it off, RODE includes a shock mount, cable, dust cover, and tutorial DVD with the NT2 A Studio Solution!
