JBL CONTROL 28-1 8" 240W High Output Speaker
JBL's Control 28-1 loudspeaker are two-way, eight-inch monitors designed for indoor/outdoor use. The Control 28-1 monitor features weatherproof circuitry, natural frequency representation, and JBL's proprietary InvisiBall mounting hardware. The speakers can be installed using a hidden access point behind the logo badge of this hardware. Thus, this powered speaker is an ideal solution for venues, health clubs, theme parks, cafes, or anywhere foreground/background music is a necessity. With the built-in multi-tap transformer, these monitors can operate on distributed speaker lines and handle 240W of programmatic material at 8 Ohms. This speaker's cone geometry also ensures a comfortable listening experience on- or off-axis. Its SPL is 112 dB. They also exhibit a smooth high-frequency response thanks to their PEI diaphragms. In addition to sound performance, the speaker features Kapton voice coil formers, JBL's WeatherEdge rubberized extensions, and a sturdy cabinet that offers rain, wind, and heat protection.
