AKG’s D7S reference dynamic vocal microphone creates the subtle and open sound of a condenser capsule with the powerful resonance of a dynamic microphone. It also has a laminated material that dampens high resonance peaks in the frequency response, which in combination with the D7's tight, supercardioid polar pattern enables it to deliver outstanding gain before feedback. Additionally, this microphone has an on/off switch. The device has an integrated high-pass filter and a mechano-pneumatic capsule suspension, which effectively eliminates handling noise.
