The Rode's SMARTLAV+ is a broadcast-grade wearable condenser microphone that may be used in a variety of film, television, and broadcast applications, as well as anywhere where broadcast-quality audio is needed in a discreet, portable manner without the hassle and expense of extra wireless equipment. The SMARTLAV+ requires only that the user put the microphone on the talent, link it to a smartphone or tablet headphone jack, and record using the RDE Rec app for iOS or any other audio app of their choosing.
